Investigator development supported by increased funding Aug 6 2010

The Investigator group has secured additional funding for product development through TechNZ, an investment arm of the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology of New Zealand (FRST).

The funding provides the opportunity for greater research and development capabilities and will allow new enhancements to the Investigator product to be more readily brought to market. Methodware's Managing Director, Paul Stokes, said the company was investing in growing its Investigations and Intelligence business.

"We have a unique selling point and a compelling value proposition for investigation and law enforcement teams. Investigator is all about giving front line officers useful and usable technology so they can get on with solving difficult cases."

The investment comes on top of other recent TechNZ grants within the Jade group of companies. Mark Gallagher, Director of Sector Investments at the FRST stated the grants were part of efforts to support market-focused and innovative companies in further research and development.
